The Preparatory Committee for the First International Conference entitled "Libyan Libraries in the Age of Digital Transformation: Their Role in Supporting Scientific Research and Enhancing Knowledge Integration" held its regular meeting, graciously sponsored by the University of Gharyan and the University of Al-Zaytuna.

The meeting was attended by the conference president along with the heads of all preparatory committees, where a thorough field follow-up was conducted on the overall preparations and ongoing arrangements in anticipation of the conference scheduled to be held next November.

This meeting comes as a reaffirmation of the seriousness in consolidating the objectives of the conference and envisioning the future of Libyan libraries as pioneering knowledge institutions and a fundamental pillar in supporting scientific research and building bridges of knowledge integration.
