Yesterday, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at eleven o’clock in the morning, the members of the Supreme Committee for the International Conference of the Department of Libraries and Information met at the headquarters of the Libyan Academy in Tripoli.  

The meeting was attended by:  

- Prof. Anwar Imhamed Al-Yateem, member of the Supreme Committee and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Arts  

- Dr. Osama Saeed Barakat, Chair of the Preparatory Committee for the International Conference  

- Prof. Dr. Mohamed Al-Darhoubi, member of the Scientific Committee  

- Prof. Dr. Ashour Mohamed Al-Sheikhi, member of the Scientific Committee  

- Prof. Dr. Hanan Al-Sadiq Bezan, member of the Scientific Committee  

- Dr. Faiza Mohamed Shalabi, member of the Scientific Committee  

- Dr. Mohamed Nasser Bin Musa, member of the Scientific Committee  

- Dr. Fikri Muftah Abu Rakhis, member of the Preparatory Committee  

During the meeting, many matters related to the final arrangements for the international conference were discussed. The meeting concluded at one o’clock in the afternoon.
