A meeting was held today, Thursday, the 6th of Ramadan, corresponding to March 6, 2025, with representatives of the Ministry of Finance. The meeting was attended by the President of Gharyan University, the President of Tripoli University, the General Representative of Faculty Members at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with several directors of offices and departments at Tripoli University.

The meeting aimed to address various issues concerning faculty members. Agreements were made to resolve all obstacles and release the overdue compensation for extra teaching hours ("load") for some members for the months of January and February. These will be disbursed with the salaries of March. It was also agreed to prepare a unified workload table to serve as a roadmap to be adopted at the level of Libyan universities and the Ministry of Finance.
