Following Up on the University Committee’s Work on Academic Journal Quality

As part of the follow-up on the committee formed by University Presidency Decision No. (510), regarding the supervision and monitoring of the quality of peer-reviewed academic journals within the university, the assigned committee held its regular meeting today, Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation at Gharyan University’s General Administration.  

The meeting addressed several issues, including ways to improve the quality of academic journals at Gharyan University, as well as the following agenda items:  

• Developing a clear vision for academic journals in the upcoming period.  

• Listing and categorizing the academic journals affiliated with Gharyan University.  

• Establishing a mechanism to ensure all requirements are met for the university’s publications to be included in the DOLJ platform under the National Program for the Development of Libyan Journals.
