Under the direct patronage of the President of Gharyan University and the Secretary-General, the specialized training workshop titled "Utilizing Generative AI Tools in Analyzing Relationships Between Previous Studies and Identifying Research Gaps" concluded today, Monday, May 26, 2025.

Organized in collaboration between the university’s Training Center and the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Science – Gharyan, the workshop focused on equipping participants with the latest knowledge and skills in AI tools to accurately establish connections between previous studies and uncover research gaps, opening new horizons for researchers.

The workshop saw significant participation from faculty members and researchers across various university faculties, with additional attendees from the University of Tripoli, Zintan University, Nalut University, the Higher Institute of Science and Technology – Gharyan, and the Academy of Graduate Studies. This broad engagement underscores the workshop’s pivotal role in fostering academic and research collaboration among Libyan universities.

Held at the university administration’s meeting hall, the workshop was delivered by Prof. Samar Al-Arabi and Dr. Intisar Al-Jali from the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Science – Gharyan, earning high praise from participants for its rich content and the exceptional expertise of the trainers.

This initiative marks an important step toward accelerating academic and research collaboration by integrating modern AI technologies into scientific research methodologies.
