The third meeting of the University Council for the year 2026
Follow-ups
On Sunday, April 26, 2026, at exactly eleven o’clock, the third meeting of the University Council for the year 2026 was held in the meeting hall at the university administration, attended by:
- The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Saleh Qashout
- The Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Faqih
- The General Secretary, Mr. Mohamed Al-Sunni
- The University’s Legal Advisor, Mr. Salah Kashanda
- The deans of the university faculties
The meeting began with prayers for the souls of our colleagues, faculty members of the university, who passed away in recent weeks:
- Dr. Ahmed Faraj Al-Toumi, Faculty of Science, Asaba
- Dr. Khairiya Imhamed Al-Saadi, Faculty of Science, Gharyan
- Dr. Mabrouka Muftah Al-Mazoughi, Faculty of Medicine, Gharyan
Asking God Almighty to grant them His vast mercy, admit them into His spacious paradise, and inspire their families with patience and solace.
The meeting then proceeded to discuss several items, including reviewing and approving the previous minutes by the council members, presenting five agenda items along with any new matters. The meeting concluded at 1:30 in the afternoon.
