The specialized training course titled "Genetic Material Extraction and Applications of Real-Time PCR Technology"

was launched on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the Faculty of Human Medicine – Gharyan University,

as part of efforts to develop research and laboratory skills.

The course targets staff members of the Biochemistry Department, including faculty, assistants, and technicians, along with participants from the Faculty of Health Sciences. It is supervised by a group of experts from the Libyan Center for Biotechnology Research, within the framework of a cooperation agreement with the university.

The course aims to enhance participants’ proficiency in molecular biotechnology and enable them to use the latest applications in disease diagnosis and gene analysis.

On the second day, the university’s training committee conducted an inspection visit to monitor the program’s progress and document its activities.
