Gharyan University Welcomes the British Ambassador This morning, Wednesday
Gharyan University warmly welcomed the British Ambassador Martin Longden this morning, Wednesday. He was received by representatives of the university president, Dr. Abdulaziz Boudina, and Dr. Khamis Mabrouk, along with the general secretary, Mr. Mohamed Al-Sunni. Also in attendance were parliament member Salah Zubeik and members of the municipal council, Rajab Al-Aswad and Mona Al-Muqaddam.
After an introduction about the university and its faculties, the meeting included an exchange of views on the possibilities and prospects for cooperation between Gharyan University and the British Embassy. Discussions centered on how the embassy could support capacity building, improve the quality of the educational process, and enhance some programs and projects that the university intends to implement for its students. The meeting was successful and is expected to open new avenues for further cooperation with the British government, represented by its embassy in Libya.
