Gharyan University has taken a new step reflecting its commitment to advancing engineering education and scientific research, as the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation received the licensed academic version of SOLIDWORKS, one of the world’s leading programs in engineering design and digital manufacturing. This comes as part of the cooperation agreement signed with Dassault Systèmes.The program was received and installed in the university’s laboratories in coordination with ABBK, the authorized representative of Dassault Systèmes in Tunisia and the official distributor in Africa, making it available to students, faculty members, and researchers in fields such as engineering design, simulation, and product development.The agreement also includes specialized training programs supervised by ABBK experts, enabling participants to obtain internationally recognized professional certifications from Dassault Systèmes, starting with CSWA, then CSWP, and finally CSWE, enhancing the readiness of students and graduates for the job market according to global standards.This achievement represents one of the first outcomes of the cooperation agreement signed between Gharyan University and Dassault Systèmes in February 2026, within the university’s vision to build effective international partnerships, promote innovation, transfer technology, and elevate the quality of education and scientific research.Gharyan University extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for its continuous support, and to ABBK for its fruitful cooperation.
