Under the gracious patronage and in the presence of the University President Prof. Dr. Saleh Qashout, the Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ali Al-Faqih, the Dean of the Faculty Association Dr. Abdulhamid Al-Shaibani, the Director of the President’s Office Mr. Mousa Al-Dhabea, and the media representative Mr. Hassan Ali Abu Alaq, the Faculty of Science in Asaba held today, May 17, 2026, a memorial ceremony for Dr. Ahmed Faraj Al-Toumi, may God have mercy on him.  

The event honored his scientific and humanitarian journey, his dedication, and sincere efforts in serving the faculty and the university. The atmosphere was filled with both sorrow and pride as attendees recalled his noble character, devotion to his academic and educational mission, and the positive impact he left among colleagues, students, and all who knew him.  

At the conclusion of the ceremony, a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative shield were presented to the family of the late professor, with prayers that God Almighty grant him His vast mercy, admit him into His spacious paradise, and inspire his family with patience and solace.
