Within the framework of strengthening cooperation among higher education institutions and supporting scientific and community initiatives, the Director of the Office for Women’s Support and Empowerment at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, accompanied by several office directors from universities — including the Director of Gharyan University’s office, Dr. Ibtisam Omar Al-Dhabi’ — paid a visit this morning, June 9, 2026, to Al-Zawiya University, where they attended the following events:  

* The Environmental Innovation Symposium organized by the Department of Geography at the Faculty of Arts, Al-Zawiya University  

* The Symposium on Psychological Support for Women in the Workplace organized by the University’s Women’s Support Office and the Faculty of Education, Al-Zawiya  

During the visit, they reviewed the scientific and awareness themes presented in both symposia, which contribute to enhancing environmental awareness and promoting a culture of innovation and sustainability, while also highlighting the importance of psychological support in building a healthy and safe academic environment that improves performance efficiency and achieves psychological and social balance.  

This visit comes within the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s commitment to supporting scientific and awareness activities and encouraging initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable development and advancing the university environment.
