Yesterday, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, as part of the activities of the Second Edition of the International Public Prosecution Book Fair, a legal debate simulating a court session was held under the supervision of the Student Union of the Faculty of Law – University of Tripoli and the Criminal Research and Training Center at the Office of the Attorney General, with participation from several Libyan universities.
The event witnessed the qualification of the Gharyan University team to the final round after a strong competition against Africa University, during which the university’s students delivered an outstanding performance marked by solid legal reasoning and analytical skills, reflecting the high level achieved by the Faculty of Law students.
The competition was attended by the President of Gharyan University, Professor Dr. Saleh Qashout, and faculty members, who expressed their pride in the students’ excellence and discipline, affirming the university administration’s continued support for all scientific activities that contribute to developing students’ skills and enhancing their academic capabilities.
On this occasion, Gharyan University extends its sincere congratulations to the participating team and wishes them all the best in the final round, hoping for continued success and distinction in their academic journey.
