The University of Gharyan Council holds its fifth regular meeting of 2026.
The University of Gharyan Council held its fifth regular meeting of 2026 today, Sunday, June 28, 2026, in the General Administration meeting hall, attended by the University President and council members.
The meeting opened with a review and approval of the minutes of the fourth council meeting, followed by discussions on several agenda items, most notably:
- Listening to faculty reports on the progress of examinations within the colleges.
- Presentation by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts – Gharyan regarding the adoption of several organizational guides and documents, including:
- Student Guide
- Faculty Members Guide
- Ethical Charter for students, faculty members, and staff
- Discussion of the letter from the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences concerning the calculation of hours for the graduate training program, which extends for three months after completion of theoretical courses.
The council also discussed several emerging general topics related to the university’s workflow and made appropriate decisions and recommendations to support the educational process and enhance institutional performance.
