Tripoli | Tuesday, July 14, 2026The Office of Monitoring and Performance Evaluation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research held its first meeting of monitoring office directors at universities and the Libyan Academy on Tuesday morning, July 14, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Samir Krshman, Director of the Office, with the attendance of office staff and directors of monitoring offices at higher education institutions.The meeting opened with greetings from the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with his apology for not attending due to official duties outside the ministry. He reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to supporting and developing the monitoring and performance evaluation system and strengthening its role in improving institutional performance.The discussions focused on ways to develop the work of monitoring offices, unify work models and procedures, and enhance coordination and cooperation between the ministry and higher education institutions. Several proposals aimed at improving institutional performance and achieving the ministry’s objectives were also reviewed.The meeting concluded by stressing the importance of continuing coordination, holding regular meetings, and producing practical recommendations that contribute to the development of the monitoring and performance evaluation system in higher education institutions, thereby enhancing quality and raising the level of institutional work.
