The Gharyan University Employees’ Union held a meeting with a number of staff members whose salaries have not yet been released, in the presence of the University President, the Director of the Referral and Disposal Office, the Director of the Inspection and Follow‑up Office, a representative from the University’s Media Office, as well as several faculty union representatives and affected employees.The meeting addressed the situation of employees whose salaries have not been disbursed. The University President reviewed the efforts made to follow up on financial issues and work toward resolving the employees’ cases, affirming that all their rights are being monitored and that appropriate solutions are being sought.For its part, the Employees’ Union stressed the need for joint efforts between the union, the university administration, employees, and the relevant oversight bodies to reach solutions that guarantee the rights of staff demanding the release of their salaries, in line with the rest of the employees.The union and the affected staff reaffirmed their full and legitimate right to take all necessary legal measures to claim their rights, including calling for a meeting of the University Employees’ Union and conveying the employees’ demands to the Ministry of Finance.
