Scientific Workshop at the Faculty of Accounting in Gharyan on the Fundamentals of the Unified Treasury Account and Its Role in Rationalizing Public Expenditure
This morning, at the Faculty of Accounting in Gharyan, a workshop was held entitled “Fundamentals of the Unified Treasury Account (TSA) and Its Role in Managing and Rationalizing State Expenditures.” The workshop was prepared and presented by postgraduate and undergraduate students from the Department of Accounting, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Masoud Mohamed Amroud, and attended by a number of academics and interested participants.
The workshop addressed the importance of the Unified Treasury Account in enhancing the efficiency of financial resource management and rationalizing public spending. It also featured the presentation of the Citizen’s Budget in Libya for the year 2025, after years of suspension, contributing to the promotion of financial transparency and raising financial awareness.
The event witnessed scientific discussions and constructive interventions that enriched topics of financial reform and the development of public financial management, amid praise for the efforts of the organizers and all those who contributed to its success.
