"Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Signs Cooperation Agreement with the Medical Specialties Council"

In the presence of several university presidents, vice presidents for academic affairs, deans of medical faculties, the president of the Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies, the director general of the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research, and several directors of departments and offices within the ministry, Minister Dr. Imran Al-Qeib signed a cooperation agreement with the president of the Medical Specialties Council, Dr. Mohammed Sassi. The agreement aims to address various issues faced by clinical staff and promote the development of medical education to meet global standards in education, training, and medical qualification, thereby enhancing the capabilities of national medical personnel. The minister's speech also highlighted the importance of scientific research and publishing in peer-reviewed scientific journals, which enhances the international ranking of our universities.

Furthermore, the minister emphasized the importance of this agreement as a strategic step towards improving the quality of medical education in Libya.

At the end of the meeting, the director general of the Medical Specialties Council and the council members appreciated the minister's interest in medical education and resolving all related issues. They also emphasized the importance of signing this memorandum, which will open up significant avenues of cooperation with a positive impact on the community.
