On Wednesday, 27 August 2024, Gharyan University participated in the activities of the essay and short story competition for Libyan university students. This event was organized by Al-Zaytouna University in its fourth session, in accordance with the activity plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the academic year 2024-2025, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the slogan "For a Creative Student." A number of students from various Libyan universities participated.

Gharyan University was represented by the following students:

- Douaa Abdelwahid Al-Dabea, Faculty of Science, Al-Asabaa

- Salsabeel Ahmed Al-Ashtar, Faculty of Science, Al-Asabaa

All the contributions were excellent, allowing students to showcase their writing skills, which were evaluated by experts in the field of writing and language.
