In an effort by the Faculty of Arts, Gharyan to support scientific and cognitive research and believing in its role in community service

Professor Izdihar Mohamed Al-Qamati, Head of the Quality Office at the Faculty and a French language professor in the French Language Department, participated in the first international scientific conference on teaching living languages in Arab academic institutions. The conference, titled "The Reality and Prospects of Teaching Methods and Theories of Learning Living Languages in Arab Universities and Academic Institutions," was held in Benghazi, along with a group of academics and researchers interested in developing language teaching methods in the Arab world from both Arab and European countries participating in the conference.

Professor Izdihar Al-Qamati presented a research paper titled:
